MyWiki:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Project RNLI

Description

To gather like minded individuals who support RNLI Volunteers. This will create a group of knowledge that will help reach our goal of creating a Wikipedia page of every RNLI station in the UK to acknowledge the Volunteers of the station. Articles that relate to Project RNLI:

• Royal National Lifeboat Institution
• Tower Lifeboat Station
• Over 200 lifeboat stations don't have a page, that is what the project will be aimed at; so their name may be on this list one day.

There are know WikiProjects acknowledging the volunteering efforts of the RNLI Lifeboat Stations.

Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?

I believe that there are people on Wikipedia that acknowledge the support of RNLI Stations and Volunteers and would like to create pages on it, but they don't have enough information. With a group everyone can share there knowledge and ideas in one area focused on RNLI Station.

Also, specify whether or not you would join the project. I would join the project as I am a supporter of RNLI and would love to help other users (and get help from other users) to help reach our aim.
