Antigone
The Operas of the Month for January are both based on the Greek mythological figure Antigone
- Antigona by Josef Mysliveček needs a synopsis and an expanded lead which must minimally include the date and place of the premiere.
- Antigone by Arthur Honegger is a stub needing expansion and we lack an article on the mezzo-soprano Simone Ballard who created the title role.
- Antigona by Tommaso Traetta needs a much improved lead and performance history
