Usage:
{{OversightBlock}} provides default message.
{{OversightBlock|sig = ~~~~}} signs the template.
{{OversightBlock|more context}} adds additional explanatory line:
The |appeal= parameter specifies whether the blocking Oversighter has directed the block to be appealed publicly, on the talk page, or privately, to ArbCom:
- Using
|appeal=arbcom(default) makes the template say:
- "review the guide to appealing blocks, and then email the Arbitration Committee at arbcom-en
wikimedia.org"
- "review the guide to appealing blocks, and then email the Arbitration Committee at arbcom-en
- Using
|appeal=publicmakes the template say:
- "review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Do not reiterate the information that has been suppressed in your block appeal; if you do, your talk page access may be revoked."
