Template:Self-reference link/doc

This template is used in articles about Wikipedia to link to a Wikipedia page in the form of an external link, so that the link will still work on mirrors and forks of Wikipedia. For when a self-reference link may, or should not, be used, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Self-references to avoid.

Usage

• {{Srlink|Jimbo Wales}} produces Jimbo Wales
• {{Srlink|Main Page|Wikipedia's Main Page}} produces Wikipedia's Main Page
• {{Srlink|User:Magnus Manske|Magnus Manske's Wikipedia user page}} produces Magnus Manske's Wikipedia user page
