===India stubs by state===

This concerns missing subcategories of {{cl|India stubs by state}}. There are 29 states and 7 union territories in India, but just fifteen states (and none of the union territories) have a stub cat for the state as a whole.

Background: having created over thirty stub templates for railway stations in India, and eleven stub categories for those stub templates with 60+ transclusions (see [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals/2017/February#Subdividing Indian railway station stubs]] and {{cl|Indian railway station stubs}}), I have found that several of these could only be set up as subsidiary to {{cl|Indian railway station stubs}} - there is no general stub category for the state. For example, {{cl|Andhra Pradesh railway station stubs}} has been set up as a subcategory of both {{cl|Indian railway station stubs}} and {{cl|Andhra Pradesh stubs}}, whereas {{cl|Delhi railway station stubs}} has been set up as a subcategory of {{cl|Indian railway station stubs}} alone, since {{cl|Delhi stubs}} does not exist. Similarly, {{tlx|Gujarat-railstation-stub}} upmerges to both {{cl|Indian railway station stubs}} and {{cl|Gujarat stubs}}, whereas {{tlx|ArunachalPradesh-railstation-stub}} upmerges to {{cl|Indian railway station stubs}} alone, since {{cl|Arunachal Pradesh stubs}} does not exist.

We have potential to regularise the situation by creating the missing 21 stub categories, since although not all have railway station stubs, the equivalent geo stub templates exist (as do the school stub templates) - and in many cases, the geo stub cats exist as well. The list is as follows:
