When an article is created translating from German, a few steps should be kept in mind.<br />
* Lead: The German WP links the dates and uses symbols for birth and death, - here delink and replace the birth symbol by "born" for living people, the death symbol by "–". German has the places of birth and death where the dates are, English has them in the body. Consider an infobox to have them together.<br />
* Add template "Authority control", - worst thing happening is nothing happens. Normally you get the library details from Wikidata. If you have received a number (GND) for the German National Library (DNB), you can call the entries for the person by <nowiki>{{DNB portal|GND}}</nowiki>, placed under "External links".<br />
* Remember that German has External links before references; it's the other way round here.<br />
* Place projects, especially BIO, on the talk.<br />
* Enter the new article in a disambiguation page of the surname.<br />
