My draft "Debanjan Bhattacharjee" was rejected 18 days ago. I have made important amendment , as per the guidelines, and would like to submit the new draft for a re-review. However, I am unable to resubmit it. Can you please guide, whether the newly editted draft dated today, 3 March (IST), has been automatically submitted for a review ?

:Hi {{U|RenaeSmith}}. I've corrected the syntax of the citations in the draft. The opening <code><nowiki><ref></nowiki></code> tag should be placed before the url or other description of the source, whereas the closing <code><nowiki></ref></nowiki></code> tag should be placed ''after'' the description of the source. The other mechanical thing you should do is to move the inline citations from where they are now, clustered in the references section, to immediately after the sentence(s) that each source supports. See [[WP:REFB|Referencing for beginners]] for further explanation.

:A larger issue is that the draft should only use [[WP:RS|reliable sources]], and it needs independent sources to demonstrate [[WP:NACTOR|notability]]. IMDb is user-generated, so it is not a reliable source, and should not be used as a reference (it may remain in the external links section). I haven't watched the WLTZ video. It's probably a reliable source, but if it's an interview consisting almost entirely of Smith talking about Smith, then it isn't independent. Independence is also a concern with the remaining two sources, which appear to be press releases designed to promote NCIS and Smith respectively. You can look for articles in reliable sources (think ''The Hollywood Reporter'', ''Variety'', ''The Los Angeles Times'', etc.) but it may be too early in her career for enough reliable sources to have written about her, in which case it would be too soon for Wikipedia to have an article about her. --[[User:Worldbruce|Worldbruce]] ([[User talk:Worldbruce|talk]]) 14:30, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

I am a first timer sorry. i am just learning the ropes, i have edited a few articles, this is my fist article.

I made an article submission which was rejected on a few issues, Not satisfying standards - policies and the sources were announcements, notices and profiles

i read wikipedia policy and other info, looked for more info on notably sources, and have found others. could you have a look and tell me if the changes to the article will resolved the issues highlighted in the first submition rejection. Any assistance would b great.

But even after doing that, there will still be a question of whether the material you are presenting really merits a stand-alone article, as opposed to appearing as a sub-section of the article on [[Fort McMurray]].
