I’ve fully rewritten the “Early life” section and part of the “Education” section, drawing heavily on this source, which includes a seminal set of essays by scholars based near Gutenberg’s hometown. Although the biography still requires substantial work for an intended [[WP:FAC|featured article candidacy]], I unfortunately no longer have access to the book (I&#039;ve since moved towns from the library I originally loaned it). As far as I can tell, it is not available online nor through the WP library.
