:As far as I can tell from the article histories, you didn't ''merge'' the articles, you ''redirected'' [[Lake Mykee Town, Missouri]] to point to [[Holts Summit, Missouri]]. In doing so you completely removed the information in the former article from the active database. The subject of an article doesn't lose notability if it no longer exists. You opened the proposal discussion and closed it 10 minutes later. As an 'involved' editor, technically you should not have been the one to close the discussion, certainly not after such a short period of time. I am not sure whether you read the instructions at [[:WP:MERGEPROP]] and [[:WP:FMERGE]] but you should do so (if you have not already) before trying again. If the merger proposal is accepted by the community, following the instructions should ensure that there are no problems.
