: Due to the original date of the seal, I would pick the 'A' version since the font style is more appropriate for the 1850 date of the seals creation. In my opinion (imo) the 'B' versions font is too modern for the year 1850. ::{{re|User:Vwanweb}} I agree with the dotted borders. I prefer a little of 'A' and 'B'. From 'A', the original design, font and color and from 'B', the more distinguished light rays that you cannot see well in the metal portion of 'A'.

::The finished seal should have the dotted borders, original font and blue-ish clouds with the hand emerging holding the black scale. Light rays in a similar color scheme to the sunset in the [[Seal of Michigan]] should be emerging from behind the naturally colored bald eagle carrying the arrows and tricolor shield. The Seal of Grand Rapids was designed in the same period of the Seal of Michigan, [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Michigan_state_coat_of_arms_(illustrated,_1876).jpg so the colors on this] should be helpful.

:Secondly I was thinking of a global shot*, 3 animated gifs making a series.
:Last, now that I examinate this new gif, the trigger balance mechanism is lightly different from the NYT's visualisation, there the finger are visible, and the product (bullet holes) as well.
:It's good we have this new animation, and it indeed lower the need for new animations.
