Zambrone (Calabrian: Zambrònë) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vibo Valentia in the Italian region Calabria, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southwest of Catanzaro and about 9 kilometres (6 mi) northwest of Vibo Valentia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,803 and an area of 14.4 square kilometres (5.6 mi2).[1]
Zambrone borders the following municipalities: Briatico, Parghelia, Zaccanopoli.
The town was home to southern Italy's first water park, Aquapark di Zambrone, prior to its closure in 2007.
