Utting am Ammersee (German pronunciation: [ˈʊtɪŋ ʔam ˈʔamɐˌzeː] Audio file "LL-Q188 (deu)-Michael Schoenitzer (MichaelSchoenitzer)-Utting am Ammersee.wav" not found, lit. 'Utting on the Ammersee'; until 1953 just Utting) is a municipality in the district of Landsberg in Bavaria in Germany.
History
[edit | edit source]During World War II, a subcamp of Dachau concentration camp was located in the town.[2]
Transport

The municipality has a railway station, Utting, on the Mering–Weilheim line.
