Use

- essays in Wikipedia namespace
- essay categories
- WikiProject Wikipedia essays pages
It should not be added to the talk page of any essay in user space.
Attributes
[edit source]The template uses the importance class, but not the quality class. Importance is set automatically by a bot which analyzes pageviews, watchers, and incoming links.
