Special Branch and Criminal Investigation Department

The Special Intelligence Department is headed by the Police Brigadier Generals of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Its job is to issue passports, carry out investigations, and to ensure security for the homeland. It uses surveillance tech to monitor civilians and find opponents.[1]
