Salt Lake Daily Herald
(Redirected from Salt Lake Herald)
The Salt Lake Daily Herald was a daily newspaper in Salt Lake City, Utah. It may also be known as the Salt Lake Herald or Salt Lake City Herald. It was founded in 1870 by publishers William C. Dunbar and Edward L. Sloan.[1]
It was at one time housed in the Herald Building, when the newspaper was owned by William A. Clark, a wealthy entrepreneur and politician from Montana.
The Salt Lake Herald merged with the Inter-mountain Republican in 1909 to form the Salt Lake Herald Republican.[2] The Inter-mountain Republican had been published from 1906-1909.[3] The Salt Lake Herald Republican was published until 1918.[2]
