The Muroosystems Corporation (Japanese: 株式会社ムロオシステムズ) is a Japanese information technology company based in Tokyo. Established in 2006 in Hiroshima Prefecture, the company provides services in digital transformation, decentralized computing, and renewable energy projects.[2][3]
In October 2024, Muroosystems acquired Nukem Technologies GmbH, a German company specializing in nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management.[4][5][6][7]
The company's international activities include IT and renewable energy projects in Central Asia, notably Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.[8][9][10][11]
On December 20, 2025, the Uzatom Agency of Uzbekistan announced a joint initiative with Muroosystems Corporation to construct a large-scale data center powered exclusively by small modular reactors (SMRs). The facility is planned to operate with a continuous load of approximately 50 megawatts without connecting to the national power grid, making it one of the world's first infrastructure projects to integrate nuclear energy directly with computing power.
