Karak is a tehsil located in Karak District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The population is 155,642 according to the 2017 census.[1] The district HQ is located in this tehsil. It is one of the most deprived tehsil of the district. Education institutions, health facilities, public health and works departments done very less. In the past 10-15 years very less development works are done by the district government. Most of its population is rural. Facilities like electricity, gas, water health and education are non-existent. Recently a road is under construction from Sabirabad to wargha Banda (one of the furthest village) but if one see the construction work its poor.
