Grün-Weiß Dankersen-Minden, commonly known as GWD Minden, is a handball club from Minden, Germany, and is competing in the Handball-Bundesliga.[1]

History

The club was founded on 31 May 1924 in Dankersen, a town of circa 5000 inhabitants. The team started in the 1928-29 season in the local league.[2]
