English: Renewable and conventional energy production in Germany over two weeks in 2022. In hours with low wind and PV production, hard coal and gas fill the gap. Nuclear and biomass show almost no flexibility. PV delivers supply the increased consumption during daytime hours but varies seasonally.
Deutsch: Erneuerbare und konventionelle Energieerzeugung in Deutschland über zwei Wochen in 2022. Wenn wenig Wind- und Solarenergie produziert werden, füllen Steinkohle und Erdgas die Lücke. Kernenergie und Biomasse zeigen keine Flexibilität. PV liefert Energie parallel zum erhöhten Tagesbedarf, schwankt aber jahreszeitlich stark. |
