| Description |
English: Two-wire transmission line. At a distance x into the line, there is current I(x) traveling through each wire in opposite directions, and there is voltage V(x) between the wires. If the current and voltage come from a single sinusoidal traveling wave (with no reflection), then the ratio V(x) / I(x) = Z0, the characteristic impedance of the line. |
