Description
English: Thomas Dabney Dimitry was one of the first mixed-race Creole post office superintendents in the largest post office in New Orleans. He was the progeny of a mixed marriage between Alexander Dimitry and Mary Powell Mills. His siblings included Author John Bull Smith Dimitry, Author Charles Patton Dimitry, and Poet Virginia Dimitry Ruth.
