Reata de Asnos, A Reata of Donkeys. In Spain “Reata” means: group of donkeys, mules or horses tied together; the rope that ties one horse or mule to another, to make them go in a straight line; the leading mule of three that draw a cart. In Mexico “Reata” is the nickname the Mexican Vaqueros give to their lasso for roping.
This image is in the public domain in the United States because it was first published outside the United States prior to January 1, 1931. Other jurisdictions have other rules.
