Postcard sent in response to viewer mail from Ray Rayner for his Ray Rayner Show, a popular morning children's television program in Chicago. He is seen holding Chelveston the duck, a fixture on the show. The stuffed dog seen at right is Cuddly Duddley, which started out as a Chicago Tribune subscription premium. The dog later became a puppet character on Rayner's show; the Tribune Company was and is the owner of both the newspaper and television station.
