| Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | To give the reader a look at the evolution of the character. The screenshot is from the opening cinematic of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and helps demonstrate how the character changes in role and appearance over the course of the games which feature her. In Lightning Returns, she has undergone another change distinct from her appearance in the first and second games, being portrayed in a costume meant to represent her final battle. While other costumes were created for her by other designers, this is the outfit as seen in the opening and closing CGI cutscenes and thus her main outfit for the game. It forms a part of the article commentary that would be difficult to convey with text alone. |
