English: Homer Bates Chase, of Hillsboro, New Hampshire, an American volunteer with the Spanish Loyalist forces, is shown as he arrived here on October 18th, on the liner Queen Mary. Chase returned with 13 of his comrades, all of whom were released from the Spanish Rebel's prison at Burgos, Spain, where they were held for over a year after their capture on the battlefields. Their release was effected by Ambassador Claude Bowers.
