Golden West Network (GWN) broadcasts into a number of television licence areas in Western Australia, including:

  • South West and Great Southern TV1 (Green)
Area: 88,922 km²
Population: 260,303
Callsign: SSW
  • Kalgoorlie TV1 (Blue)
Area: 81,238 km²
Population: 53,435
Callsign: VEW
  • Geraldton TV1 (Purple)
Area: 41,900 km²
Population: 43,495
Callsign: GTW
  • Western Zone TV1 (Yellow)
Area: 2,440,100 km²
Population: 169,352
Callsign: WAW


The Kalgoorlie and South West television licence areas overlap (shown in orange), the shared area covering a population of 3325. The Western Zone licence area also overlaps the other license areas, including 8.46% of Kalgoorlie TV1, 7.49% of South West and Great Southern TV1 and 9.61% of Geraldton TV1.

Shown in grey is the Perth TV1 licence area, which covers the metropolitan Perth region. GWN does not broadcast into this area.
