Description
English: Reconstruction of the first (unofficial) flag of the state of New Mexico (1915 - 1925), designed by Col. Ralph E. Twitchell.
For another reconstruction with somewhat different proportions, see plate XXXVI-a, page 152 of The Flag Book of the United States by Whitney Smith (William Morrow and Company, 1970). Discussion of the design is on pages 173-174.
