Fair use for Fatty Finn
[edit | edit source]The image picture-fair-use.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is originally copyright I (Dan arndt (talk)) feel it is covered by fair use because:
- it is a low resolution copy of a comic strip;
- it does not limit the copyright owners rights to sell the comic strip in any way;
- copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the comic strip;
- the panel in question illustrates a noteworthy aspect of the character Fatty Finn;
- the comic strip is no longer published and the artist/creator, Syd Nicholls, is deceased;
- the comic strip was published in c1920s.
