"Tiene una altura de 68 cm y un ancho 52 cm, el encabezado es la frase El Copey Villa del Cesar, seguido de tres estrellas que representan los corregimientos, en la siguiente franja encontramos una espiga de arroz, una rama de café, una mata de algodón y una vaca, simbolizando la riqueza de nuestro municipio, en cuanto la agricultura y ganadería, en la franja inferior encontramos el río Ariguaní en el centro, en la parte izquierda encontramos la línea férrea y en la parte derecha encontramos los cultivos de palma africana abundante en esta región."
