Summary

Electrostatic voltmeter movement. The bigger,fixed sector is insulated from the rest of the movement. The butterfly shaped moving sector is very light aluminum foil, shaped with rounded edges to reduce high electrical stress concentration. Front left is an air damper connected by a curved wire.
