Summary

[edit | edit source]

A still from the R. J. Reynolds commercial for Camel cigarettes produced in late 1940s-early 1950s.

The image above is a still from an advertising campaign “What cigarette do you smoke, doctor?” popular in the 1950s. R. J. Reynolds’ slogan claimed that "More doctors smoke Camels than any other cigarette." There is no free use alternative, so this image's sole purpose is to be used to illustrate the article about the multimedia archival collection that contains a tape with this commercial.

Fair use is therefore claimed for this image when used to illustrate the article Legacy Tobacco Documents Library Multimedia Collection which is about the UCSF Tobacco Industry Videos and Audio Recordings collections.
