Licensing
[edit | edit source]This image is an illustration of a character or characters in a comic book, video game, or animated television program or film. The copyright for it is most likely held by either the publisher/producer and/or artist(s) producing the work in question. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of character artwork:
- for commentary on the character or characters in question,
- where no free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information,
- on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation,
Rationale for the fair use of this image in the article Characters of Chrono Cross:
- Square Enix has not released any such images to the public domain
- The image is used to illustrate the game's distinctive art style
- The image is being used in an informative way and should not detract from the game
- The image has been reduced in size and is a small, web-resolution image
- The image's only purpose is to aid in the description of the characters of Chrono Cross, and for no other purpose
- The image does not limit Square Enix's ability to sell the game
