Українська: Вигин гряд біля центра місячного Моря Достатку. За деякими припущеннями, може окреслювати сховане під лавою внутрішнє кільце басейну моря (Wilhelms, 1987, Wood, 2005 тощо). Ліворуч — кратери Мессьє A та Мессьє, в центрі — ймовірне скупчення місячних куполів. Мозаїка знімків космічного апарата Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, зроблених ширококутньою камерою (WAC) у січні 2010 року з висоти близько 40 км. Висота Сонця — близько 4°. Ширина фото — близько 300 км, північ приблизно вгорі.
English: Bow of wrinkle ridges, called Dorsa Geikie, near the center of Mare Fecunditatis on the Moon. According to some suggestions, it can outline the submerged inner ring of Fecunditatis basin (e.g., Wilhelms, 1987, Wood, 2010). Craters Messier A and Messier are seen in the left, and probable group of lunar domes in the center. Mosaic of photos by Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, made with Wide Angle Camera in January 2010 from altitude about 40 km. Sun elevation is approximately 4°. Width of the photo is approximately 300 km, north is approximately up. |
