Screenshot of what happens in Atari BASIC when the user enters a line containing a syntax error. After the line number, the string "ERROR- " is inserted and the first character of the token following the erroneous token is displayed with the foreground and background colours swapped.
Screenshot was created myself using the Atari800Win PLus Atari 8-bit Emulator.
