Kyle Hill is an American science communicator and YouTuber who is the host of Because Science.
Early life and education

Career
[edit | edit source]Hill is a science editor for Nerdist, on whose YouTube channel he hosts Muskwatch.[‡ 2]
Writing for Scientific American, Kyle Hill praised the 2013 game The Last of Us for its plausibility, basing its zombification process on a fictional strain of the parasitic Cordyceps fungus, a real-world genus whose members control the behavior of their arthropod hosts in "zombielike" ways to reproduce.[‡ 3]
In September 2016, it was announced that Hill would host the television series MythBusters: The Search.[‡ 4]
Because Science
[edit | edit source]Kyle Hill hosted Because Science, an educational series produced by Nerdist Industries that features explanations of the science and physics behind fantasy figures.
Personal life
