Aravind (from Sanskrit: अरविन्द aravinda) is a common Indian masculine name meaning lotus. The name is of Hindu origin.[1] Its variants include Arvind, Aravinda, Aravindan, and Aurobindo (Bengali: অরবিন্দ).
