Alpanu sometimes spelt Alpnu or Alpan was an Etruscan goddess[1]: 157-8  of the underworld and perhaps of sexual love as well[2]: 13 . Her name appears on the Piacenza Liver[1]: 157 , and it appears on seven mirrors mainly in love scenes as well[1]: 157-8 . The personification of Alpan is shown in one of the mirrors as male[1]: 158 . She is shown as wearing jewellery, a loose cloak, and sandals[2]: 13 .
