Albert Dolan (born 1 December 1998)[1] is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway East constituency since the 2024 general election.[2][3]

Political career

He was a member of Galway County Council for the AthenryOranmore local electoral area from 2019 to 2024.[4]

Dolan topped the poll in the Galway East constituency at the 2024 Irish general election and was officially deemed elected on his 26th birthday, making him one of the youngest members of the 34th Dáil.[5] He proposed Micheál Martin for the position of Taoiseach at a sitting of Dáil Éireann on 23 January 2025.[6]
